The importance of education in general and engineering education in particular and its effect on the overall standard of living cannot be denied. Engineering institutions are the basic building blocks that produce professionally skilled personnel to match the needs of the industry and society. Education is the prime agent for upgradation of knowledge, skill, culture and sensitivity of human beings. With this in view, the college strives to provide excellent opportunities and conducive educational environment for developing the full potential of its students so that they become good technocrats.
ANAND MOHAN (IAS): Hindustan College provided the perfect platform for me to take the big leap forward in my career
The college was started in the year 1996 with 160 students and has grown by leaps and bounds in the past 19 years and has a current intake of 1300 students. We run B.Tech programmes in 11 branches of engineering and a two year M.B.A. course in management. We also have three approved M.Tech programmes.
It is a well established institution of excellence with vibrant academic ambience, excellent infrastructural facilities and laboratories. A qualified and experienced team of faculty members work with students to make them understand not only the theoretical concepts of the curriculum but also tell them how these concepts can be applied in practice. In a society which is becoming increasingly competitive and knowledge-driven, education is the only path for continued success in life.
The current developmental trends have brought forth a variety of new avenues and opportunities. A satisfying and highly remunerative career awaits those who accept the challenge and work steadfastly with a single-mindedness of purpose.
My sincere advice to all students’ seeking admissions with us is to make the best use of opportunities and succeed in developing themselves into competent professionals, entrepreneurs and responsible human beings. Make full use of your stay with us to sharpen your latent talent, creative abilities and articulate your thoughts.
