Biotechnology Engineering is a branch of engineering that focuses on biotechnologies and biological science. It includes different disciplines such as biochemical engineering, biomedical engineering, bio-process engineering, bio-system engineering and so on. However, in general it is an integrated approach of fundamental biological sciences and traditional engineering principles.

When I reflect on my years in HCST, I conclude that the experience not only made me a better engineer, but also prepared me in unpredictable ways for my career. Being a part of pioneer batch, I hope that the benchmark that our batch is going to set, the new generation will be living up to that, which make us proud. I would like to appreciate the placement cell at HCST for the efforts they made for providing a fair and ample amount of chances to us. The faculty members worked so hard on our overall development and conducted boot-camps and extra classes for us to enhance our technical and interpersonal skills. I loved my time here at HCST. My 4 years of B.tech are worth remembering because I have got so many rewards and experiences which helped me in grooming my personality as a whole. HCST is a place where teachers work harder than students and keep encouraging students to do even better. College provides not only good academic support but also various cultural and sports facilities. Students from HCST are working in MNCs and also studying in IISC/IITS. College provides ample opportunities and enough support to reach our goal, the final result depends on our own efforts. If there are unplaced students then there also exists so many students who have grabbed double placements and that too in big companies with good salary packages.
