A yoga, meditation, and physical fitness program in the college can be highly beneficial for students, offering significant improvements in stress management, mental focus, physical health, and overall well-being, potentially leading to better academic performance and a more positive student experience; with key benefits including reduced anxiety, improved concentration, enhanced self-awareness, better sleep quality, and increased resilience to academic pressures.
In order to improve the holistic health of students, Yoga & Physical Fitness activities are being systematically organized on a regular basis by the Department of Physical Education & Sports of the college. A structured initiative designed to promote student’s overall well-being by incorporating yoga postures, meditation techniques, and traditional physical exercises, aiming to improve flexibility, strength, stress management, focus, and mental clarity within the student body.
A few minutes of Yoga during the day can be a great way to get rid of stress that accumulates daily, in both, body and the mind. Yoga postures, Pranayama and meditation are effective techniques to release stress. Meditation is relaxation and rejuvenates the body and mind.
