Admission Eligibility
CATEGORY I : Affiliated to & Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University
AKTU accepts 20% of total sanctioned candidates on the basis of JEE-Main followed by UPTAC counselling applicants should have passed his/her 10+2 level exam from any recognised board as per the state Govt. norms. Balance seats are filled by the Colleges through Direct admissions as per AKTU guidelines, under the Management Quota. Any unfilled seats / lapsed seats (filled but not reported for joining) are also filled by the college after getting approval from the University.
The order of preference for these Management Quota/Lapsed Seats Admissions is indicated below
- Rank in CUET
- Rank in JEE- Mains
- (10+2) with Physics & Math and any one out of Chem. / Biology Subject with 50% marks.
Note: For B.Tech.(Bio-Tech.) 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Math or Biology with 50% marks.
B.TECH 2nd Year Direct Admission- (Lateral Entry)
- Rank in CUET
- Diploma in Engg. with min. 50%
- B. Sc. with, Math, min. 50% marks
- Rank in CUET PG
- Rank in CAT/MAT
- Graduation (Min. 3 Years) in any discipline with 50% marks.
- Rank in CUET PG
- GATE percentile of 85%(+) desirable.
- Minimum 60% in B. Tech from an AICTE approved institution (relaxation for sponsored candidates) in a related domain.
